ADA Information
ADA accessible parking is available in all campus lots on first come first serve basis.  Accessible seating is located at the bottom of each section and is first come first serve. If you are in need of special accommodations, please call to notify the ticket office well in advance of the game, (757) 728-6832. 

Admission
All fans entering Armstrong Stadium regardless of age must have a valid ticket to gain admission to the stadium. Stadium gates open two hours before kickoff for public entry into the stadium. There is NO re-entry.

Alcoholic Beverages
Visitors to Armstrong Stadium are not allowed to bring alcohol inside of Armstrong Stadium. Intoxicated and/or disorderly behavior as well as violation of any alcohol policy may result in ejection from Armstrong Stadium without refund and could result in the loss of season tickets.

Alcoholic beverages are sold only at the Pirates Cove Hospitality Tent at Armstrong Stadium. Pirates Cove will open one hour before Kickoff and will close at the beginning of the 4th quarter.  Alcohol policies are as follows:
  • Underage drinking is prohibited.
  • Tickets for the Pirates Cove can be purchased in advance online at hamptonpirates.com/tickets
  • Patrons must be 21 to receive a wristband.
  • Patrons under the age of 21 found in possession of alcohol will be reported and asked to leave the Stadium.
  • Patrons who are consuming alcohol and appear to be under the age of 21 must be prepared to show proper identification. If proper ID cannot be provided upon request, patrons will be reported.
  • Patrons who are seen supplying alcohol to underage guests will be reported and asked to leave the stadium.   
  • Patrons may be refused purchase at the discretion of Pirates Cove staff, police, stadium personnel or event staff.
  • No refunds will be offered for confiscated beverages.
  • Patrons are not permitted to leave the stadium with alcoholic beverages.
Banners, Signs, and Flags
Banners, signs and flags are not permitted in Armstrong Stadium.

Bag Policy
To ensure a safe game day experience, we are implementing a new bag policy. We strongly encourage fans to use clear bags. Small hand bags, no larger than 4.5” x 6.5” are allowed but will be subject to security check.  


Concessions
Concession stands are in the back corners of the stadium. Food Trucks will be added to provide more options at select games.

Game Day Ticket Sales and Will Call
For game day ticket sales and general fan will call, visit the Convocation Center Ticket Window near Lot 10 (Black Lot).  Tickets will also be sold at Armstrong Stadium Gate B. The Game Day ticket offices will open four hours before Kickoff.

Player pass lists, for both teams, and recruit Will Call is located at ticket booths near Armstrong Stadium Gate C. ID is required for all Will Call ticket retrievals.


Lost Persons/Lost and Found
To report a lost person or lost item, contact the nearest event staff or police officer.

 
Parking Information
  • Season parking passes will be distributed for season ticket holders in White Lot 11 or Black Lot 10. No single game passes will be given for Lot 11.
  • Single game parking passes are available for sale online in advance. Fans are strongly encouraged to purchase parking passes in advance.
  • Single Game parking passes will be sold at Game Day Lots based on availability. Cash payments are not accepted.
  • Parking passes will be distributed to fans electronically and should be accessed on a mobile phone. Game Day staff will scan the pass on your phone at the entry of the assigned lot.
  • There are a limited number of spaces in White Lot (Lot 11) that are reserved for members of the Pirate Leadership Society. Please make sure to park in the assigned space. Violators may be ticketed or towed.
 For safety reasons as well as emergency access, if necessary, the following are NOT PERMITTED in the parking lots:
  • Throwing objects – This includes, but is not limited to, footballs and frisbees.
  • Blocking the roadway – placing tables, chairs, corn hole boards or other items that may extend into the roadway beyond the bounds of the parking space provided is not permitted.
  • Blocking the sidewalks – The sidewalks must remain open for pedestrian travel.
  • Sound Systems / Noise amplification – This includes bands and DJ equipment.
  • Cutting, removing, or destroying the boundary ropes or signs.
  • Destroying landscaping or fencing.
  • Underage drinking.

Parking Dos Donts
Prohibited & Permitted Items
All persons entering the stadium are subject to search. To protect the safety of our patrons, players, officials and staff, the following items are prohibited.

Prohibited Items
  • Coolers/Containers/Bags (unless medical supplies and prior approved)
  • Purses including clutches
  • Fireworks / Explosive / Weapons (including guns and pocket knives with blades longer than 4")
  • Illegal drugs; follows State and campus guidelines
  • Laser pointers
  • Noisemakers (horns, whistles, cow bells, turkey calls, etc.)
  • Outside food or beverage
  • Pets (except service animals)
  • Signs, flags, banners
  • Smoking/Vaping (allowed in designated areas only)
  • Strollers
  • Umbrellas
  • Unmanned aircraft (drones)
Permitted Items
The following items are permitted inside the venue:
  • Binoculars and
  • Radios with headsets
  • Seat cushions without arms or backs 
Seating
Sections C, D, E, and F are reserved with Chairbacks. All other sections are General Admission seating within the section.  Sections I, K3 and K4 are typically filled by Hampton students.  Section K5 and K6 are for the Hampton Band.

All persons entering the stadium may be subject to search by stadium personnel prior to entering the gates. 
 
Smoking/Vaping
Armstrong Stadium is a smoke-free environment in all facilities, both indoor and outdoor. Smoking/vaping WILL NOT BE PERMITTED on the concourses, seating areas, restrooms or portals leading to the seating area.

Sportsmanship
Hampton University Athletics and the Coastal Athletic Association expect good sportsmanship for all in attendance at our events. We will not tolerate usage of foul, abusive, or obscene language. Any spectator that uses such language that is discriminatory based on gender, sexual orientation, gender identification, age, race, national origin, religion, military status, disability status or any other characteristic is subject to removal from Armstrong Stadium.  No refunds will be given in these cases.


Tailgates, Corporate/Professional
Corporate/professional tailgates are not allowed and no corporate signage is permitted at any time unless prior written approval by Hampton University Athletics.
